Mike Feinberg will give breakout session on Deployment of Cloud Technologies

"The movement of information and services out of the data center and into the Cloud can unleash fear in many of us," concedes EMC's Cloud supremo Mike Feinberg, Senior VP of the storage giant's Cloud Infrastructure and Services Division. Cloud technologies nonetheless offer many benefits over traditional IT systems, Feinberg argues - "Especially when managing the size and vastness of unstructured data and unpredictable growth in IT environments," he notes. "Trusting that your information is secure, accessible and protected is important, and deciding what information remains inside and outside of the cloud can be critical to the success of your business," insists Feinberg, who will be giving a breakout session at SYS-CON's Cloud Computing Expo, in San Jose, CA - which is being held November 19-21, 2008. Feinberg is Senior Vice President of the Cloud Infrastructure Group at EMC Corporation. He joined EMC to lead the Technology Ventures Group which was formed in May of 2006 with the objective of addressing emerging customer and technology trends and delivering products and solutions that will revolutionize existing IT paradigms. In February of 2008, EMC created a new division to focus on the emerging opportunities for cloud-based solutions and services. Mike Feinberg is part of a star-studded lineup of speakers at SYS-CON's 1st International Cloud Computing Confernce & Expo. Between them, they'll be covering every aspect of the hottest IT topic for years, with not just Amazon but also IBM, Microsoft, Google, Yahoo, Intel, HP and a host of others all offering, using or developing high-end computing services typically described as “cloud computing” - through which massively scalable IT-related capabilities are provided as a service using Internet technologies.
